Ibraaz July Reader 010/03
Ibraaz is pleased to announce the release of new content commissioned for Platform 010, in which we ask: 'Where to Now? Shifting Regional Dynamics and Cultural Production in North Africa and the Middle East'. This month's newsletter includes essays by Sarah-Neel Smith, Heba Y. Amin, and Lara Baladi; interviews with Koyo Kouoh, Fadi Bardawil, Zeynep Oz, Natasha Hoare and Hamza Halloubi; projects by Lara Baladi and Dena Al-Adeeb; and reviews and reports from Beirut, Berlin, Cologne, Florence, Istanbul, and New York. In Channel, we present a specially curated online screening by Jim Quilty in collaboration with the Beirut Art Center, featuring works by Vartan Avakian, Mounira Al Solh, Yto Barrada, Wissam Charaf, and Jalal Toufic.

In August, Ibraaz will continue publishing content related to Platform 010, including reviews and reports, while also taking a look back at the content published for Platform 010 since its launch in November 2015. In September 2016, we will release a new round of commissioned essays, interviews, projects, reviews, reports, and channel videos, by contributors including Hamid Dabashi, Shiva Balaghi, Natasha Marie-Llorens, Khaled Ramadan, Hajra Waheed, Mohssin Harraki, Karima Boudou, Jessica Khazrik and Rania Stephan, among others.
